Visit the historical sites of Fort Louisbourg and the Graham Bell Museum, or go underground to explore the hardships of coal mining at the Miner’s Museum.Visit the Gaelic College to learn about kilt-making or just enjoy the natural beauty by driving along the Cabot Trail. Acadian Peninsula and Fundy Coast

From Fort Beauséjour to the Pays de la Sagouine in Bouctouche, from the lobster traditions in Shediac to the rocky shores of the Bay of Fundy, southeastern New Brunswick has it all for your students. They will revel in the Acadian culture, music and food and enjoy walking on the beautiful Bouctouche Dune beach, or on the ocean floor at Hopewell Rocks, where the world’s highest tides are so powerful, they can reverse the flow of rivers.

Halifax and its region

Halifax is Atlantic Canada’s largest city with a lively downtown core on the water. Stroll along the waterfront, take a boat ride and visit the rich historic district. Within an hour’s drive, you can visit the famous lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove, the village of Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site, or head north to Grand Pré to learn about the Acadian deportation in 1755.
